Phil Sutton has been our minister since 2008, following his retirement after 34 years with Kent Police, where he was a local patrol sergeant. He became a Christian in his teens, and moved to Westerham as a ‘local bobby’ in 1983, whereupon he became a member of our church. He has undergone Bible training with The Proclamation Trust in London and his Bible-based talks are littered with illustrations from everyday life, (often from his previous vocation!).
Phil and his wife, Hazel, have been married since their teens and have 3 adult children, and 5 grandchildren.
